Lambeau Field hosts ‘Project Play 60’ on Saturday; derogations required

‘Play 60 project’the Green Bay Packers event, which aims to get kids out of the house for non-strenuous physical activity, is scheduled for Saturday, February 5.

The free community event is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will take place on the ground floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium and the Legends Club on the fourth floor. New this year, Waivers will need to be signed by parents/guardians before participating. Waivers can be signed in advance at packers.com/projectplay60.

The event will feature popular inflatables, interactive physical activity games, a rock climbing wall, face painting and a ninja obstacle course and gymnastics circuit courtesy of Tri-County Gymnastics. Children are also welcome to participate Bellin Health Certified Instructors for 10-minute mindful yoga sessions to teach children how to use mindfulness and yoga techniques to strengthen their minds and bodies. For safety reasons, event participants are required to wear socks and sports shoes.

Additionally, with COVID-19 cases still at high levels, visitors to Lambeau Field are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors, although masks are not required. The Packers are encouraging those who are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home.

Parking will be free for guests attending Project Play 60, and attendees must enter the Atrium through the American Family Insurance Gate on the east side of the stadium.

Project Play 60 is part of Green Bay Packers give backthe Packers’ comprehensive community outreach initiative, which includes the Green Bay Packers Foundation, appearances by players, alumni, coaches and staff, youth football outreach, cash and in-kind donations, Make-A-Wish tours and community events.
